Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. Who we are
Dog&Drive Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17230608), with a registered office at 16 Isbourne Way, Cheltenham, GL54 5NS, United Kingdom.
2. How to contact us
For any question about this policy or your personal information, email enquiries-uk@doganddrive.com or write to us at the registered office above.
3. The information we collect
Depending on how you use the shop, we may collect:
- your name, email address and telephone number;
- your billing and delivery addresses;
- vehicle details you provide, including make, model, year, registration, body style, trim and loadspace information;
- information about your dogs that you choose to share, such as number, size or access needs;
- photographs of your loadspace that you send us to confirm compatibility;
- your order, configuration and enquiry history, and related correspondence;
- return, fault and fit-claim requests you raise, including the reason you select and any description you write; and
- if customer accounts are enabled and you choose to create one, authentication records, account identifiers and order-linking information;
- technical information needed to operate the website, such as your device’s IP address and the pages you view.
We do not collect payment card details ourselves. Card payments are handled by our payment provider (see section 6).
4. How we use your information
- to respond to enquiries and recommend a suitable system;
- to confirm vehicle compatibility before manufacture;
- to process, manufacture, deliver and support your order;
- to arrange delivery and, where relevant, customs and import formalities;
- to handle returns, faults, refunds and complaints;
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations; and
- to maintain the security and proper operation of the website.
5. Our lawful bases for processing
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK data protection law:
- Contract : to take steps at your request before entering a contract and to perform the contract for your order.
- Legal obligation : to meet obligations such as tax, accounting and consumer law.
- Legitimate interests : to operate and secure the website, to communicate about enquiries, and to keep records, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent : where you opt in to optional marketing, analytics or advertising measurement. You can withdraw consent at any time.
6. Service providers who process your information
We share personal information with providers who process it on our behalf, only as needed to run the shop:
- our website hosting and infrastructure provider (Vercel);
- our payment provider (Stripe), which processes your payment securely;
- our transactional email provider (Resend), used to send order and enquiry correspondence;
- our customer-account and order-record provider (Supabase), where you choose to use the optional account service;
- our couriers and any customs representatives, to deliver your order and clear it for import; and
- our manufacturing workshop in Germany, to produce and configure your order.
Each provider is required to keep your information secure and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
7. International data transfers
Because our products are manufactured in Germany and some providers operate outside the United Kingdom, your information may be transferred internationally. Where it is, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, including providing your order and support, and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Enquiry information that does not lead to an order is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to deal with it. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Marketing
We send marketing only where you have asked us to. The choice is a separate, optional tick box that is never pre-selected, and sending us an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything. Order-related and enquiry-related messages are not marketing: they are sent so we can fulfil your request, and they continue whatever your marketing choice is.
When you do opt in we record the email address, the exact wording you agreed to and its version, where the choice was made and when. That record is how we can show your consent was freely given, and it is kept for as long as we rely on it plus a reasonable period afterwards.
You can withdraw at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, the unsubscribe page, or simply reply to us. Withdrawing is recorded in the same way and takes effect on our next send.
10. Cookies and analytics
The shop uses essential browser storage to remember your basket, selected vehicle and privacy choices. If you use the optional account service, strictly necessary authentication cookies keep you signed in securely. Payment services use the storage needed to process your order.
Optional analytics is off until you agree. If you accept it, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure visits, product selections, configuration choices, basket actions, enquiries and performance. Where connected, Google Analytics measures the shopping journey and confirmed purchases and refunds. We remove query strings from the page addresses we send, read only campaign labels for attribution, and exclude account, admin, authentication, returns and confirmation pages from browser tracking.
Advertising measurement is a separate choice. Where connected and permitted, Google and Meta measure advertising outcomes. Meta may receive browser advertising identifiers and confirmed purchase amounts through its Pixel and Conversions API. We do not send your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, registration or enquiry text to these measurement services.
Choose Accept all, Reject optional or Settings when prompted. You can change your choice at any time using Privacy settings in the footer. Your choice is remembered for up to six months. Withdrawing stops future optional measurement and cancels pending conversion deliveries for that purpose. To request deletion of information already shared, contact us using the details above.
Consent receipts expire after six months. Conversion payloads are removed after 30 days once delivery has finished; delivery records expire after six months. Payment and refund records are retained separately to meet our accounting obligations. Providers retain the data they receive according to their service settings and privacy notices.

11. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal information; to have inaccurate information corrected; to have information erased in certain circumstances; to restrict or object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at enquiries-uk@doganddrive.com.
12. Complaints
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
